There’s a moment so many women in business hit and it’s not always obvious from the outside.
On paper, things look like they’re moving. You’ve got the business, maybe some clients, you’re showing up, doing the things.
But behind the scenes?
You feel pulled in every direction.
You’re trying to juggle work, life, family, responsibilities and somehow still grow a business that’s meant to give you more freedom. And instead, it feels like it’s taking more from you.
That was exactly where one of my clients was when she came to me.
She was working a part-time job, building her business on the side, raising two energetic boys and constantly feeling like she was falling short somewhere.
At work.
At home.
In her business.
She wanted to leave her job and have her business replace that income but not if it meant sacrificing time with her kids.
She didn’t want to miss school events.
She didn’t want to keep asking for time off.
She didn’t want a business that required her to be “always on.”
She wanted a business that actually supported her life.
And if you’re honest you probably do too.
Here’s what she had already done before working with me:
She’d invested in courses.
Followed strategies from people online.
Listened to podcasts.
Tried different productivity tools and systems.
She wasn’t lazy.
She wasn’t unmotivated.
She wasn’t lacking discipline.
If anything, she was doing too much.
And that’s the problem.
Most of what you’re being taught in the online space isn’t designed for your life.
It’s designed for someone with more time, more capacity, fewer responsibilities or a completely different season.
So when you try to follow it, one of two things happens:
You either can’t keep up
Or you push yourself to keep up and end up burnt out.
Neither leads to sustainable growth.
It’s a misalignment problem.
When your business isn’t built around your real life, everything feels harder than it needs to be.
You feel behind before the week even starts.
Your to-do list never feels finished.
You’re constantly switching between roles and never fully present in any of them.
And the worst part?
You start to question yourself.
“Maybe I’m just not cut out for this.”
“Maybe I need to try harder.”
“Maybe I just need more discipline.”
But it’s not you.
It’s the way you’ve been trying to make it work.
When we started working together, we didn’t add more.
We simplified.
We looked at her actual life first, her schedule, her energy, her responsibilities, what she wanted her days to feel like.
Then we rebuilt her business around that.
Here’s what that looked like in practice:
Instead of trying to do everything, we focused on the few things that would actually move the needle in her business.
No more busy work.
No more “I should be doing this because everyone else is”
Just aligned, intentional action.
Not a rigid schedule she’d fall off after a week but a flexible structure she could actually stick to.
One that allowed her to work, grow her business and still be present with her kids.
Because structure should give you freedom, not take it away.
This was the biggest piece.
She was second guessing everything. Overthinking every move. Waiting for proof before backing herself.
And no strategy works when you don’t trust yourself to follow through.
So we shifted that.
We built evidence.
We strengthened her belief.
We got her into action from a place of confidence, not fear.
Over time, everything started to change.
She stopped overthinking.
She showed up with clarity.
She made decisions quicker.
She followed through.
And she built consistent income in her business that replaced her part-time job.
But more importantly?
She created a business that actually fit her life.
She could be there for her kids.
She could attend school events without asking permission.
She could switch off at the end of the day and feel done.
That’s the kind of success most women actually want.
Not more for the sake of more
But enough, in a way that feels good to live.
If you’re in that place where your business feels messy, overwhelming or like it’s taking more than it’s giving…
You don’t need another course.
You don’t need another strategy to try.
You need to pause and ask:
Because your next level isn’t built from doing more.
It’s built from doing what actually works for you.
This is the work I do with my clients.
Not giving you a cookie-cutter plan, but helping you create a business that supports your life, your priorities, and your season.
