Have you ever hit that point in business where everything feels a little … off?
The to-do list is endless.
Your inbox won’t stop pinging.
Your creativity’s dried up.
And despite all the hours you’re pouring into doing the thing, you still feel like you’re behind.
If that’s where you’re at right now, I see you. And you are so not alone.
Over the past few weeks inside the Life Aligned Business Mastermind and with my 1:1 coaching clients, this has been the recurring theme:
“I’m doing all the things. But I feel like I’m stuck. Tired. Unmotivated. Like I’ve lost my spark.”
And when this comes up, the natural response is usually to try and push through.
Do more. Try harder. Squeeze in another late night or early morning.
But what if that’s not the answer?
What if the most powerful move you could make isn’t to force your way forward … but to pause instead?
We’re living in a time where women are doing so much – raising families, running households, building businesses, showing up in their communities. And in the world of entrepreneurship, especially in the online space, the pressure to keep going, growing and performing is real.
There’s a narrative we’ve all internalised to some degree:
“If I just hustle harder, success will come.”
“If I don’t show up daily, I’ll fall behind.”
“If I take a break, people will forget about me.”
And that narrative? It’s exhausting.
It keeps you in a cycle of burnout, where the business you started to give you freedom now feels like another heavy thing on your shoulders.
Inside the mastermind recently, I’ve had several women share things like:
“I’m so tired, but I don’t feel like I can stop.”
“I feel guilty taking time off when my business isn’t ‘there’ yet.”
“I love my business, but lately it feels like a chore.”
Their instinct was to double down and push harder.
But instead, I offered them something counterintuitive …permission to rest.
Here’s the thing no one talks about enough:
Rest isn’t laziness.
Rest isn’t weakness.
Rest is a strategy.
When you step back and give yourself space, you’re not falling behind. You’re creating room for clarity. You’re reconnecting with your energy, your vision and your why.
Because real creativity doesn’t come from a frazzled, overloaded brain.
Momentum doesn’t come from burnout.
And sustainable success? It’s never built from a place of force.
When my clients took that step back. Whether it was a weekend off, a slow morning, or even a whole week away from their regular business rhythm, they didn’t come back behind.
They came back better.
It’s like watching the fog lift.
One client said,
“Taking time off felt terrifying at first but it gave me more clarity than I’ve had in months. I realised I’d been busy doing all the wrong things.”
Another told me,
“I finally gave myself permission to nap in the middle of the day, and I kid you not, I woke up with a full content plan and renewed excitement to launch my next offer.”
This is the power of flow.
Force feels like:
Flow feels like:
And here’s the truth … you don’t get to flow by pushing your way there.
You get there by listening to what your mind and body actually need.
By recognising when the juggle is too much, and choosing to breathe before you break.
By creating white space so you can stop reacting to life and start responding from alignment.
Here’s what I want you to know:
You are not failing
You are not lazy
You are not falling behind
You’re a woman doing so much, and you deserve to feel supported, not stretched thin.
So if the life + business juggle is weighing on you right now, I want to invite you to try this:
1. Pause.
Give yourself 10 -15 mins away from distractions. Close your laptop. Put the phone down. Breathe. You don’t need hours, just a little space to reset
2. Reflect.
Ask yourself:
3. Respond.
Based on your answers, take one aligned action.
Maybe that’s cancelling something non essential, going for a walk or taking the afternoon off.
Small shifts lead to big results.
This is what we do inside the Life Aligned Business Mastermind.
We don’t just focus on strategies and growth. We focus on creating a business that supports your life, energy and goals.
