I’ll admit it, sometimes I’m jealous of my clients.
After a full day of coaching calls both 1:1 sessions + mastermind, I shut the computer down, took a deep breath and just sat there smiling. My heart was honestly bursting.
You know those days where you can feel the energy? Where every client breakthrough, every “oh my gosh, it clicked!” moment, every small shift feels like magic?
That was one of those days.
When I went upstairs to my husband Lee, I couldn’t help but gush. I was on such a high, celebrating all the incredible success my clients are creating, some hitting multiple 5 figure months, others signing dream clients, some simply finding confidence again.
And then I caught myself saying, half jokingly, “why can’t I do that for myself?”
It stopped me in my tracks.
Because here’s the truth I had to remind myself of (and maybe you need this reminder too):
It’s so much easier to see the magic, the strategy and the potential in someone else.
To hold space, ask the right questions, guide them to clarity and cheer them on, that’s my gift. It’s what I do every day and it’s the part of my work that lights me up most.
But when it comes to our own business?
We overthink.
We doubt.
We second-guess every decision.
We get tangled in our own blind spots.
That’s when I remembered something I already knew but clearly needed to feel again:
Coaches need coaches. Leaders need mentors. Humans need humans.
Because no matter how experienced, intuitive or successful we become, we can’t see our own brilliance clearly. We can’t hold space for ourselves in the same way we do for others.
And that little flicker of “jealousy”?
It wasn’t jealousy at all.
It was pride.
Pride in my clients who are showing up, doing the work, and expanding beyond what they thought was possible. Pride that I get to be part of their journey. Pride that what I teach clarity, aligned action, presence, isn’t just theory, it’s transformation in motion.
It was a beautiful reminder that this work isn’t just about strategy or systems (though those matter too).
It’s about connection.
It’s about being seen, supported, and held.
Because even when you’re the one holding space for others, you still deserve someone to hold space for you.
And maybe that’s your reminder today, too.
To stop trying to do it all alone.
To let yourself be supported.
To allow someone else to help you see what you can’t yet see in yourself.
Because your next level won’t come from pushing harder, it’ll come from being held deeper.
